Job summary

Waterhouse Ridge Memory Care in Beaverton, OR seeks a caring Caregiver to provide high-quality daily living support to residents. Training is provided; weekend coverage adds $1.50/hour on all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferably 1 year of senior living experience.
• TB and CPR certifications as required by the State.
• Basic computer skills.
• English language proficiency (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living per person-centered care.
• Provide personal care per individual services plans (bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, etc.).
• Support daily needs and tasks as requested.
• Respect residents’ privacy, dignity and individuality.
• Follow infection control procedures and standard precautions.
• Complete required training upon hire and annually.

Waterhouse Ridge Memory Care, located in Beaverton, OR is seeking a dedicated and passionate Caregiver to provide high-quality care to the residents in our community.

Responsibilities of the Caregiver

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
• Provides personal care services as outlined in the individual services plans such as assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, positioning, assist to meals, feeding, change bed linens, laundry, etc.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience:

• Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferably one (1) year prior experience in Senior Living, as a Caregiver and/or Med Tech.
• Tuberculosis (TB) and CPR Certifications as required by the State
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.

Job Type:

• Full-Time
