Job summary

Morada Senior Living is hiring Care/Medication Technicians to support residents in our Texas community. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and help with medications under supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for designated group of residents during the shift; check on them throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms or changes in resident conditions.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if resident needs increase.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident suites and restrooms.
• Serve and collect food trays; report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Practice standard care precautions and hygiene for residents.
• Help residents maintain independence and safety; support daily living activities.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities; greet guests and family.
• Provide resident laundry as assigned.
• Review service plans and assist in medication observations and administration.
• Count narcotics with nurse each shift and restock medication cart.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
