Greenfield of Perkiomen Valley Senior Living Community is seeking Caregivers / Med Techs to care for residents. This position reports to the Director of Assisted Living.

Responsibilities:

• Takes and records vital signs.
• Measures and records height and weight; calculates and records fluid intake and output.
• Recognizes abnormal changes in body functioning and reports such changes to a supervisor.
• Provides assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and other activities of daily living.
• Transfers, positions, and turns residents.
• Contributes to residents' assessments and care plans.
• Cares for residents with dementia.
• Follows the schedule of residents' needs set by the supervisor.
• Provides emotional and social support to residents.
• Promotes and protects resident rights, assists residents in making informed decisions, treats residents with dignity and respect, protects personal belongings, reports suspected abuse or neglect, avoids physical restraints when possible, and supports independent decision-making in accordance with legal standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in Senior Living, Assisted Living, and/or Memory Care Communities.
• Previous caregiver experience.
• CNA license.
• Experience as a Medication Technician.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs are a plus.
