Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability to make decisions and act in the resident’s best interest.
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Reads and documents communication logs and informs the nurse.
• Completes incident reports per policy.
• Dispenses medications and documents in the MAR with accuracy.
• Assists residents with self-administration of medications.
• Counts narcotics per policy.
• Engages residents in life enrichment activities.
