Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Crockett, TX is actively seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Come join a team that truly cares and offers rewarding, non-medical in-home support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience required.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient and professional.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and assistance tailored to each client’s needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor safety and well-being, encourage independence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A CAREGIVER

You'll provide compassionate, non-medical care and assistance tailored to each client's individual needs.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Transporting clients to appointments and errands
• Monitoring client safety and overall well-being
• Encouraging independence and maintaining daily routines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking individuals who are:

• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience required
• Equipped with reliable transportation
• Able to work independently and responsibly
• Familiar with gait belts and Hoyer lifts (a plus)
• Willing to pass a background check and drug screening
