Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver in San Mateo, CA to provide hands-on support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility while following individualized service plans and promoting safety, dignity and independence.

You will engage residents in daily activities, assist dining services, keep a clean, welcoming environment and communicate with families and care leaders; Memory Care experiences are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
