Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Danville, VA is seeking a caring Caregiver to provide hands-on personal care and build meaningful relationships with residents, supporting their daily lives with dignity. You will assist with ADLs, follow Individualized Service Plans, promote safety and independence, engage residents in conversation and activities, and help with dining services in a warm, welcoming environment.

CPR/First Aid is preferred; applicants must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss
