Clarity Care is seeking an entry-level caregiver in Manawa, WI. Starting pay ranges up to $18/hour based on experience, with no prior certifications required and immediate hiring. The role supports individuals with varying abilities in a respectful, community-focused setting.

You will perform daily living activities, maintain safety, and help with meal preparation and documentation, contributing to a compassionate home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with auto insurance proof.
• Must pass a caregiver background check.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on caregiving. Assist with daily living activities per individual plan.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers using approved techniques.
• Guide members toward goals through self-direction and planning.
• Complete documentation for tasks and services rendered.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming group home environment.
• Prepare and serve meals following dietary needs and preferences.
• Support members in community activities and outings.

The Caregiver assists with the day-to-day operations of the group home. They carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: consumer rights, personal cares, daily living activities, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands on Caregiving. Provides direct care support to our members with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living; bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene as outlined by the individual service plan.


• Be comfortable using mobility devices and practice safe transfer and ambulation techniques like in assisted living facilities.


• Teaches and Guides members in achieving hopes, dreams, goals and objectives through self-direction, decision making, and goal setting.


• Completes all applicable documentation related to tasks assigned.


• Welcoming Home. Maintains a safe, sanitary and welcoming group home by performing housekeeping (vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom, dusting, bed making and changing linens); and laundry.


• Prepares and Serves Meals by following general nutritional guidelines, menus, individual dietary restrictions, needs and preferences to ensure consumer health.


• Community Activities. Assists, escorts, and provides physical and other types of assistance needed by members during social and recreational activities.

Education / Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.


• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Must possess a valid WI driver's license, and ability to meet agency driving standards. Must provide proof of auto insurance.


• Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence
