Job summary

One You Love Homecare Oakland Central is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support, helping clients maintain independence and dignity.

You will assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, light housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, and companionship while following care plans and infection control guidelines. Flexible scheduling and development opportunities are available, with a family-like team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or home care is preferred.
• CNA or nursing education is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.

• Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, overnights available)
• Live-In shifts available.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
