Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare in New Orleans, LA is hiring caregivers to support clients at home, helping with daily activities and personal care. This PRN/part-time/full-time role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and ongoing training.

You will assist with mobility, meals, and companionship, working in New Orleans and surrounding areas, with orientation and support from a caring team. You’ll receive dementia care training and have access to advancement opportunities within a supportive agency.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience in home or senior care preferred.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background check and pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Plan meals and assist with feeding and household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite care for families.
• Work in New Orleans and surrounding areas; PRN shifts.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• You will be working in New Orleans and surrounding areas; Metarie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers,
• This is a PRN position, can be part-time and full-time based on the shifts.

• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities
