Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare in Metairie, LA is seeking compassionate caregivers for immediate start to help clients stay safely in their own homes. You will provide daily living assistance, transportation support, and friendly companionship to adults and seniors.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment screening.
• Previous experience as an at-home caregiver or in senior communities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Work in New Orleans and surrounding areas, including Metairie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, and Kenner.
