Job summary

Independent Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes across Coal Township and surrounding communities. This role emphasizes building relationships and helping clients stay safe, comfortable and independent at home.

No professional caregiving experience is required. If you are reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older; must have a valid driver’s license; must have reliable transportation.
• Able to complete required background checks; dependable, caring and patient.
• Experience in caregiving is welcome but not required; CNA/PCA/HHA backgrounds are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

What We're Looking For

You must:

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
