Oakmont Senior Living in Roseville, CA is seeking a Care Provider for full-time or part-time shifts to support residents with daily living activities. The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful care and clear communication with residents, families, and the care team.

Join our Hiring Event on Thursday, November 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Ivy Blue Oaks, 275 Roseville Parkway, Roseville, CA 95747. We offer a pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent customer service skills
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families
• Experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB tests

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and continence
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety
• Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards
• Promote teamwork and cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents' independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident's service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
