Mission for this Position

The mission of the Memory Care Professional is to improve quality of life for Tender Rose clients and their families. The MCP provides non-medical companionship care for clients with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, delivering person-centered, activity-based care with a focus on luxury-brand customer service to enhance mood and quality of life.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 3 pm - 7 pm

Pay Rate

• $26/hr

Responsibilities

• Follow customized care plans to meet clients’ needs as the disease progresses
• Assist with ADLs and personal care activities
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep
• Drive own vehicle to outings and appointments
• Document tasks and communicate changes in client condition

Qualifications

• 1 year professional caregiver experience
• Dementia care experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance
• Pass a background check with a clean driving record
• Home Care Aide Registration

In accordance with California law, timely and accurate fingerprinting is required. Convictions may affect employment eligibility.
