Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Hawaii seeks a compassionate BAYADA Caregiver to help clients at home, building close relationships and delivering personal care with dignity and respect.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility and medication reminders, and transportation to appointments. BAYADA offers training, flexible schedules, weekly pay with direct deposit, PTO and benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Requires Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum one-year verifiable work experience or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers; use of appropriate devices.
• Support medication reminders and appointment scheduling.
• Provide companionship and watch for client safety.

What you’ll do:

As a BAYADA Caregiver, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

• Previous home care or patient care preferred, but not required. We will train you!

Requirements:

No experience, no problem! We will Train you to become a Home Health Aide (Driver's license and car required for non-experience candidates)

• Minimum one-year work verifiable experience
• Or a CNA certification
