Job summary

United Care LLC is seeking Level I Caregivers to provide essential daily support in residents' homes or residential facilities. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, companionship, and medication administration while ensuring safety and well‑being.

Applicants must complete 15 hours of caregiver training before starting, with a commitment to eight additional credits annually, and pass background checks to meet state caregiver requirements.

Qualifications

• Completion of 15 hours of caregiver training credits prior to the first day of work, with a commitment to obtaining 8 additional credits annually.
• Ability to follow care plans and work effectively under supervision.
• Must pass all required background checks and meet state caregiver requirements.
• Physical ability to lift and assist residents up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as directed and ensure proper documentation.
• Offer companionship by engaging residents in conversations and activities to promote emotional well‑being.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying to maintain a clean environment.
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Support residents with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and walking assistance.
• Observe, monitor, and promptly report changes in resident behavior, health, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow individualized care plans and accurately document all services provided.
• Provide transportation or accompany residents to medical appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.

• Must provide a negative communicable disease screening result or proof of a negative test within the last 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living
• Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses.
