Job summary

Right at Home Southern Oregon seeks a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support, enabling seniors and vulnerable adults to live safely and independently in their homes in the Rogue Valley (Medford area). You will perform personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance while following care plans and documenting notes using the mobile app.

The position emphasizes reliable communication with the office, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Pass a background check is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID are required.
• Previous caregiving experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.

About the Role
As a Right at Home Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, in-home support that enables seniors and vulnerable adults to continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their homes.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.

• Providing medication reminders.

• Assisting with mobility and transportation.

• Safety supervision and peace of mind.

• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.

• Communicating effectively with our office team.

Skills & Experience
We're looking for caring individuals who are passionate about helping others. You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• Successfully pass a background check.

• Reliable transportation and valid ID.

• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. We provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
