We need caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults in Northwest Indiana with activities of daily living, in their homes or care facilities. Shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, overnights, and live-ins.

We are specifically looking for caregivers interested in working 12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm & overnight 7pm-7am, willing to work every other weekend. Preference for those willing to work both days to reduce caregiver presence in clients' homes.

This opportunity is in Munster, with other openings across Lake and Porter counties.

Responsibilities

• Companionship: conversation, activities, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, medication reminders
• Personal Care: assistance with meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, exercises, grooming
• Charting and Reporting: communicate concerns and changes to the care team to ensure client well-being

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience caring for seniors or adults
• Ability to perform tasks competently
• Good communication skills
• Warmth and compassion
• Background check, BMV check, TB test, drug screen
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

• No certification required; pay increases for licensed CNAs, HHAs, DSPs
• Experience in professional caregiving settings
• Previous 12-hour shift experience
