Caregivers Responsibilities (snapshot)

As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily activities as indicated by their care plan, supporting their independence. Training on Activities of Daily Living (ADL), PPE, CPR, First Aid, and Dementia are provided to ensure success in your role.

  • Demonstrate understanding of and encourage independent living
  • Complete competency exams after training and annual re-certification
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA
  • Perform instrumental activities of daily living according to the client’s Plan of Care
Required Education And Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Completion of Caregiver Orientation and written exam with at least 80% passing score
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
