External Job Description

• Provide various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of care. Assist with the personal needs and comfort of clients in their own homes.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and manage special diets.
• Perform general housekeeping activities.
• Provide transportation assistance to and from appointments and activities.
• Offer compassionate companionship to patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Caregiver license required (see additional information section for specific details).
• Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Capable of working responsibly with confidential information.
• Must be able to work independently.
