Job summary

Caregiver (Home Health Aide) in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, provides one-on-one in-home companionship and daily living assistance to the elderly and those needing recuperative or continuing care. You’ll help with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and transportation, following a client’s plan of care in partnership with the Home Helpers team and family.

Flexible schedules (full or part-time) with starting pay of $15.00 per hour, and opportunities to grow skills within a supportive, rewarding

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred.
• Hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Have a smartphone and email account.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, in-home companionship and daily living assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, toileting).
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Follow and carry out the plan of care with the team and family.

• Providing caring and dependable companionship
• Light housekeeping
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Assisting with personal hygiene (like bathing and toileting)
• Transportation to and from appointments and activities
• Carrying out a plan of care that best supports your client
• Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client's unique needs by collaborating with your Home Helpers team and your client's family
