Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:

• Personal hygiene (bathing, mouth care, shaving, skin, hair, bathroom assistance)
• Ambulation and transfers
• Eating and meal preparation
• Dressing and shaving
• Accompanying to errands or medical appointments
• Housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning

Perform patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse, such as:

• Medication reminders
• Range of motion exercises
• Preparing special diets
• Dementia care
• Incontinence care

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare settings
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
