Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home support and companionship in Warren, MI. Earn $15.25-$16.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits available. This role emphasizes building relationships and delivering reliable, person-centered care.

Training and a supportive team help you succeed every day. Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, personal care, grooming, and assisting with incontinence as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months paid caregiving experience (non-family) or CNA/HHA/LVN/LPN/RN credentials.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with same client(s).
• Basic English speaking, reading and writing abilities.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and build relationships with clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide personal care: grooming, bathing, restroom assistance, incontinence support.

What you'll do as a caregiver

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide personal care services, including assistance with grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
