Job summary

Home Instead of Southwest Florida is hiring caregivers (HHA/CNA certified) to provide compassionate in-home care. Earn up to $18.00/hr with weekly pay and premium benefits, including paid training and mileage reimbursement.

You’ll support clients with companionship, meals, light housekeeping and personal care. Requirements: caregiving experience, valid driver’s license with clean record, CPR certification (Red Cross approved) and ability to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client.

Qualifications

• Basic English reading/writing; bilinguals are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll do as a caregiver

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide personal care services, including assistance with grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.

Requirements

• Must have some prior caregiving experience, either paid professional or family
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
• Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
• Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements including CPR certification (must be Red Cross approved from an in-person course)

*To be considered for a wage increase after 8 weeks, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license, insurance, and clean driving record), have proof of previously passed the Florida Home Health Aide Competency Exam or have an active HHA, RN, CNA or LNA license, work at least 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor.
