Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to join a supportive, award-winning team. You will work under an RN Supervisor in clients' homes across Norfolk and Suffolk Counties, assisting with daily activities and helping maintain dignity and comfort for seniors and others in need.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English required.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Strong communication skills with a caring nature.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals to ensure tasty and healthy options.
• Provide medication reminders and adhere to care plans as trained.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities to brighten each day.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, and commitment to quality care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes.
• Occasionally transport clients to appointments or errands with mileage reimbursement.
• Show dedication to clients and respect for our close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
