Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Caregiver for in-home support in Maine. The role provides personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and companionship, with hourly pay up to $19–$26 and daily pay options. You’ll join a supportive team focused on dignity and comfort for clients at home.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable personal transportation to travel to client homes + errands
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client

Education
