Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Hernando/Citrus in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a part-time in-home care aide. You will assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and light housekeeping, while ensuring safety and compassion.

Job description

Duties:

• Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.

• Provide medication reminders as directed by the RN
• Help patients with daily activities, including meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or CNA
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to lift and move patients with proper body mechanics.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.
