Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking an in-home caregiver in Mississippi to support clients in their homes, promoting independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments; prior elder-care experience preferred. Training and background checks provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with elderly clients preferred.
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and toileting.
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s and memory-related conditions is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
