Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to assist clients at home, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. You will support daily living activities, provide companionship, and help with meal preparation and scheduling.

The role requires empathy, patience, and strong communication to monitor health changes and coordinate with families. A background check is required; prior caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
