Senior Helpers (US) is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping maintain independence and dignity. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and monitor health changes as part of a compassionate team.

The role requires empathy, patience, and strong communication to coordinate with families and healthcare providers. A high school diploma and background check are required, with training provided and a flexible schedule

Formación

• Prior experience caring for elderly clients
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and families
• Empathy, patience, and respectful bedside manner
• Understanding of common memory-related conditions a plus
• Ability to follow care plans and document changes
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changes
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders


• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes


• Accompany clients to appointments and outings


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior

Requirements

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred


• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting


• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment
