Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/HCA/CNA to support Arbor Village residents in Washington, assisting with daily living activities and implementing personalized care plans.

You will work with the clinical team, engage residents in life skills, and help maintain a safe, welcoming community. Full-time or part-time shifts available, including weekends.

Job description

As a Caregiver/HCA/CNA with Arbor Village we’re looking for you to build meaningful relationships with our residents by getting to know their personalities and preferences. On a daily basis you’ll be relied upon to assist seniors with life skills, maintain and develop personal care plans and recommend level-of-care adjustments.

What we look for in a Caregiver/HCA/CNA:

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

What you can expect to do as a Caregiver:

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
• Assist residents in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day
• Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of the company

Position Requirements:

• Current WA State HCA or CNA license preferred
• Food Workers Card
• Preferred 2 years experience in Memory Care

$19.50 - $21.50/hour
*Depending on Experience

Opening Type:

• Day Shift: Sunday - Thursday
• Day Shift: Saturday - Monday
• Swing Shift: Saturday - Monday + Wednesday
• NOC Shift: Saturday & Sunday + On-call
