Caregiver Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Building trusting relationships with clients to facilitate effective care and support.
  2. Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks.
  3. Helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing companionship.
  4. Managing multiple tasks efficiently, being self-directed, and demonstrating good time management, courtesy, and common sense.
  5. Providing care regardless of the client's age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
  6. Working independently to meet client needs.
  7. Bringing happiness and peace of mind to the elderly and disabled.
  8. Documenting and reporting any changes in the client's health status.
  9. Ensuring client safety and well-being.
  10. Using electronic visit verification to document and track duties.
  11. Providing safety, oversight, and supervision to support clients living at home.
Experience/Qualifications
  1. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
  2. Must pass a mandatory criminal background check.
  3. First Aid/CPR certification obtained prior to employment (required).
  4. Defensive Driving certification or obtained within the first month of employment.
  5. One year of direct care experience or equivalent educational background (preferred).
  6. Practicing good hygiene and maintaining a neat personal appearance (required).
  7. Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) (required).
  8. Successfully pass clearance and reference checks (required).
  9. Ability to obtain a two-step negative TB test and physical (required).
