Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider for Ivy Park Cathedral Hill in California. The role is full-time, AM shift, Tuesday-Saturday, with a pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

No prior experience is required as training is provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, ensuring dignity and safety, promptly reporting changes, maintaining a safe environment, and fostering teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• Vaccination or PPE requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living as described in the care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and safety.
• Report any change in a resident's condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative interactions across departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents' independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident's service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
