Job summary

Ivy Park at Belmont, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, is hiring a Care Provider to join our team in Belmont, CA. The role provides personal assistance and daily care to residents to support independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, responding to resident needs promptly, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. We emphasize teamwork and compassionate care within a five-star service culture.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Health screening tests including TB tests are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ADLs as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to resident needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report changes in condition to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.

Shifts, Time, and Days: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday- 6:30AM- 2:30PM

Pay Range: $20- $21 per hour

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
