Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living - Ivy Park Roseville is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities in the afternoon and early evening. You will support ADLs and help maintain residents' comfort and independence.

The role requires excellent communication, a respectful approach to elder care, and a willingness to work weekends. Training is provided, with benefits and growth opportunities offered by Oakmont Senior Living.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Background check and health screening tests required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and confidentiality.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.

Shifts, Time, and Days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 2pm to 10:30pm

Pay Range: $17 to $18.50

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
