Job description

NeuroRestorative, a member of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other challenges. In various locations and community-based settings, we offer programs including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans.


Life Skills Trainer / Caregiver - Belleville, MI
FT / Afternoons (4:00pm-12:00am)
$15-$17/hr

Would you like to make a difference every day in someone’s life? In this role, you will carry out rewarding work and play a crucial role in our organization’s success.

  • Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other areas in residential and community settings.
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
  • Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served, support community involvement by accompanying them on outings or providing transportation to work or activities.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Six months to one year of experience in human services
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Successful background checks
  • Caring attitude and dedication to helping others
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Reliable, responsible, and compassionate
  • Commitment to quality work
