Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Tipton, IA is seeking a Care Giver to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like environment. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and daily living assistance.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and engaging residents in life enrichment activities; CNA certification is preferred and good communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred; relevant healthcare experience welcome.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Strong customer service and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
