Job summary

Oakmont of Concord seeks a Care Provider to deliver personal assistance and daily care, supporting residents to maintain independence and quality of life in a warm senior living community in Concord, California. This full-time role offers shifts 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm with DOE pay between $17.25 and $19 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Oakmont Management Group.

Experience is preferred but training is provided; must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and able to

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while preserving dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Notify supervisor of any change in resident condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with colleagues and other departments.

The Care Provider

is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents' independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident's service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
