Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, operates Oakmont of Riverpark in Oxnard. The Care Provider supports residents with daily living activities, helping with eating, bathing, dressing and mobility to promote independence and quality of life.

You will respond to resident needs promptly, maintain safety and dignity, document changes and collaborate with team members across departments. Prior experience is welcome but not required; must be 18+, HS diploma, and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate observed changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.

Shifts, Time, and Days: Friday-Monday 10:00PM-6:00AM

Pay Range: $17.00-$18.00

The Care Provider

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications
