Job summary

Senior Helpers in Cary, NC is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home senior care. You will offer companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, helping clients maintain independence in their own homes.

No medical training is required, but certifications such as CNA/PCA/BLS are preferred. A cell phone with internet access, strong communication, and reliable transportation are important.

A large part of your role is providing companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services to older adults. On a typical day, your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting), meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
• Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care and more!
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel

Requirements

• Cell phone with internet access
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications (e.g. CNA license, PCA certificate, BLS, etc.) are preferred but NOT required
• Previous experience assisting seniors with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, walking, transferring)
