Job summary

Right at Home Washtenaw in Washtenaw County, including Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking compassionate Personal Caregivers to provide in-home, non-medical care. Training is provided and part-time schedules are available to fit client needs. You will support seniors and adults with disabilities while preserving dignity and privacy.

Personal Caregiver

Right at Home Washtenaw is looking for compassionate, dependable Personal Caregivers to provide hands-on, non-medical care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.

This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable providing hands-on personal care and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their families.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Caregiver, you may assist clients with:

• Bathing and showering

• Dressing and grooming

• Toileting and incontinence care

• Mobility and transfers

• Feeding and meal assistance

• Medication reminders

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Companionship and emotional support

• Accompanying clients to appointments and activities

• Providing transportation when appropriate

• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs

• Following the client's individualized care plan

• Maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment
