Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire Skilled Caregivers and Home Health Aides to join a care team to provide in-home care for seniors. We have part-time positions available. Pay ranges between $14.00-15.50 an hour. Must be willing to drive to multiple locations. You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

1. Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
2. Ambulation/Transfers
3. Eating
4. Dressing/Shaving
5. Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
6. Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
7. Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
8. Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
9. Medication reminders
10. Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
11. Measuring and preparing special diets
12. Understanding dementia care
13. Incontinence care

Qualifications and Skills:

1. High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
2. Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities), preferred.
3. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
4. Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
