Job summary

Griswold Home Care is seeking an Experienced Caregiver for a 2-day-per-week shift in Nanticoke, PA. The role involves hands-on care, mobility support, and companionship for clients with complex needs, including dementia. Shifts run 7am–4pm with competitive hourly pay.

Candidates should have 6+ months of caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. PTO and benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with dementia or challenging behaviors preferred.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance (preferred) or reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Two professional references.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist clients with behavioral or cognitive challenges, including dementia.
• Deliver compassionate companionship and engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Act decisively and calmly during unexpected events or emergencies.
