Job Description

This is a male member who has limited mobility due to a prior stroke, resulting in paralysis on his left side. He requires assistance with walking and may need support when moving around the home. The member is not bedbound and lives with his wife and son. He is alert and does not smoke. There is a pet in the home, so caregivers should be comfortable around animals.

The ideal caregiver should be patient, compassionate, and experienced in mobility assistance. Experience with stroke recovery or working with individuals who have partial paralysis is a plus. The caregiver should be able to provide support with daily activities while maintaining the member’s dignity and independence as much as possible.
