Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to assist a female member who has limited mobility due to severe arthritis.The member has difficulty walking and is at risk of falling, so assistance with movement and stability is essential.Additionally, help is needed with reaching and grabbing items due to mobility restrictions.The ideal caregiver should be patient, attentive, and experienced in assisting individuals with mobility challenges.

As a caregiver under the Texas Star Plus program, responsibilities include:

• Assistance with walking and mobility support• Help with reaching and grabbing items• Fall prevention and safety monitoring• Light housekeeping (sweeping, dusting, laundry, etc.)• Meal preparation and cooking• Assistance with grooming and hygiene• Medication reminders (no administration)• Grocery shopping and errands (driving may be required)• Companionship and emotional support

Additional Information

• The member does not smoke.• There are pets in the home, so caregivers should be comfortable around animals.
