Job Description:
We are seeking a patient and supportive caregiver to assist a 7-year-old female with ADHD. The caregiver will focus on developing coping skills, initiating conversations, and promoting community inclusion.

Position: Caregiver (CLS & Respite Services)

Location: East Detroit (Recipient’s Home & Community)

Schedule:

• Weekdays: Open availability after 4:30 PM
• Weekends: Open availability
• Hours: 10 CLS & 5.75 Respite hours per week

Pay Rate:

• CLS: $18.30/hour
• Respite: $17.80/hour

Responsibilities:

• Support in developing and practicing coping strategies
• Encourage and assist with social interactions (activities, games)
• Promote community inclusion through outings and engagement
• Provide companionship and ensure a safe environment

Additional Details:

• Verbal individual
• Non-driving candidates welcome
• Household includes 2 dogs
• Non-smoking environment
• 1 sibling in the home

Qualifications:

• Experience with mental health, ADHD, or behavioral support preferred but not required
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Must pass a background check
