Job summary

Loving Hands Homecare Agency LLC in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients in their homes with daily activities, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Shifts include Tue & Thu 8 am–4 pm and one weekend shift every other weekend; Mon–Fri 4 pm–12 am and one weekend shift every other weekend. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare or in-home care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Willingness to get trained in Hoyer, urinary catheterization as needed.
• Non-smoker and no long or acrylic nails.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, eating).
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the home and to appointments.
• Assist with meals and basic physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform housekeeping and report incidents.
• Act quickly in emergencies.
• Support daily living activities as needed.

Caregiver

We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide exceptional support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll assist with daily activities while helping individuals maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Shifts:

Tues & Thurs 8 am to 4 pm and must be able to work 1 shift every other weekend.

Mon thru Fri 4 pm to 12 am and must be able to work 1 shift every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on‑one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standard.
• Must be comfortable driving clients van and transporting her in it.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day.
• Hoyer experience or willing/capable of training.
• Urinary Catheterization experience or knowledge or willing/capable training.
• Non-Smoker
• No long or acrylic nails
