Job summary

Senior Helpers of North West Hartford is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home personal care, helping clients stay safe and independent in their own homes.

You will engage clients in conversations, assist with walking and daily living activities, prepare meals, and report on changes in condition. We offer flexible schedules, training opportunities, and strong team support.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
