Job summary

24 Hour Home Care - Caregiver Division in Rosemead is seeking a compassionate caregiver for a Monday–Friday shift from 8:00am to 2:00pm. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes, providing personal care, meals, companionship, and medication reminders while following each client’s care plan.

The role requires two caregiving references, a valid ID, a negative TB test, and a reliable commute or relocation plan.

Qualifications

• Two Caregiving References: Provide contact information for two references who can attest to your caregiving experience.
• Valid ID: Ensure your identification documents comply with I-9 requirements.
• Negative TB Test: Provide proof of a negative TB test; cost covered for eligible candidates.
• Reliable Commute: Demonstrate reliable means of commuting to Rosemead or plan to relocate before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers).
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Administer medication reminders and follow care plans.
• Run errands and transportation as needed.
• Support light housekeeping and client safety in home settings.
