Job summary

Right at Home Moreno Valley is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and daily home support for clients who value dignity and independence.

You will assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meals, errands, and mobility, while ensuring safety and respect. Prior caregiving experience is a plus; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transferring/moving client safely around the home.
• Light housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry, bathroom care.

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, shaving, medication reminders.
• Assist with range of motion exercises.
• Support dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice and memory care needs through engagement.
• Offer companionship and supportive conversation.

About the Role

As a Caregiver CNA HHA HCA PCA with Right at Home Moreno Valley, you'll be providing personal care, companionship and daily support to an individual who values patience, respect, and a warm presence. Your care will help them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence at home.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home


• Performing housekeeping activities, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom


• Preparing simple nutritious meals and snacks according to instructions


• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments


• Providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, shaving, and medication reminders


• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises


• Supporting clients with specialized needs, such as Dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and memory care, through tailored activities and compassionate engagement


• Offering friendly companionship and conversation

What We're Looking For:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred


• Caring, reliable, and patient personality


• Experience in caregiving is a plus (caring for your family member counts)


• Good communication skills


• Someone who treats others with kindness and respect


• Ability to maintain a calm, positive environment


• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance


• Reliable transportation
